🎄DIY Mini Christmas Trees🎄

By ChennaiMom

We started off this activity just as a quite book page for Baby Moo but ended up making mini Christmas tree ornaments 😁

Supplies Needed:

  • Felt sheets
  • Fabric glue or fevibond
  • Scissor
  • Sequins

The Making:

  • Draw a mini Christmas tree outline on a white paper and keeping it as a model cut the mini trees from different coloured felt sheets (Color of your choice) with trunk in the same colour as shown below

As soon as mommy finished it Baby Moo wanted to do the matching of trees with its corresponding coloured trunk

  • To make it (tree and trunk) sturdy glue a Velcro at the back of the tree to stick the trunk

Either you can glue the trunk and keep the tree on the sides of the felt sheet as a quite book page activity or you can do the extended activity of decorating the trees as we have done below

  • Place all the required sequins, glue and the trees on a flat surface and let your little one decorate his/her own Colorfull trees of their choice

  • At first he was very patient to keep the sequins one by one but after decorating three trees he just dropped the sequins onto the trees and said ‘this is easy for me mommiya’ (that’s how he will drag and say the word mommy😂😂) 😛

Thus we had a fun filled evening (which extended till 10pm taking breaks to eat and pray) with my love

He even played with trees by carrying them and dumping them in the green felt (which he said it’s the grass mommy) thus he pretend played with it too 😁

After playing with it you can either glue a small ribbon on the edge at the top of the tree to hang it onto your real tree or you can glue Velcro at the back and keep it as the oranament for your little ones felt Christmas tree

Make these mini Christmas trees at home with simple technique to create an unique, interesting mini textured trees by your littles tiny hands my lovelies 😍
